Diligent’s Proxy Season Preview

Andrea Ranger, Green Century Shareholder Advocate spoke at Diligent’s inaugural Proxy Season Preview on Feb 15 in NYC. There, she joined the ESG Regulations & Reporting panel discussing climate risk and how companies should think about reporting their risks to shareholders.

WWF’s Plastic Policy Summit

Douglass Guernsey, Green Century shareholder advocate, was selected to represent financial institutions at WWF’s 2024 Plastic Policy Summit in Washington DC on March 20, 2024. Douglass spoke on the importance of disclosing, reducing, and replacing single-use plastic to reduce investment risks alongside leading non-profit and industry executives.

Held March 22 at Eastern CT State University in New Haven, Green Century staff attended the winter Northeast Organic Farming Association event! This one-day event provided a sense of community and education for attendees and vendors alike. Farmers, local food enthusiasts, land care professionals, advocates and young leaders attended workshops and caucus groups throughout the day.   

Planted Expo

We loved being part of Planted Expo 2024 in Seattle, WA! Erin Gray, Vice President of Business and Development represented Green Century at the event. Seattle hosted over 200 plant-based edible and lifestyle businesses and brands, accompanied by informative and inspirational speakers. Erin loved meeting everyone who stopped by the table and can’t wait to continue conversations!

Newton’s Earth Day Festival

Andrew Shalit, Green Century Shareholder Advocate attended Newton’s Earth Day Festival this year! The event took place on Sunday April 21st from Noon – 4pm at Newton North High School. Newton’s Annual Earth Day Festival offered a range of family-friendly activities including live music, face painting, a petting zoo and food vendors!  

Green Philly EcoFair

Green Century is attended the first EcoFair hosted by Green Philly! The EcoFair was held on Saturday April 27th on Cherry Street Pier in Philadelpha, PA! Green Philly’s inaugural event offered an immersive experience in sustainability with inspiring programming including panels, storytelling, and workshops, alongside a Sustainable Marketplace featuring eco-alternatives from local makers and businesses! 

Green Fin

Gigi Norcross, VP of Business Development at Green Century spoke on the importance of protecting nature and biodiversity at the GreenFin 24 conference on June 17-19. The event was held at the Javits Center in NYC.
